Active work on formation of the image of Buryatia continued

 

The president of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn held the last in this year session of the Council on promotion of the image of the Republic. "The image results of 2009" were sounded.

The deputy head of the Administration of the President and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia on information politics and public relations - the vice-president of the Council Irina Smolyak informed in detail all the present members about the carried out actions which, anyhow, influenced the creation of positive image of the Republic. And she told about this in a new way. Her report was represented like a presentation film.  During the year the Government of Buryatia has done a lot. The Republic of Buryatia was presented in the Federation Council. Days of the Republic of Buryatia in Moscow, Days of Moscow in Buryatia, Days of economy and culture of the Republic in Mongolia, and also Baikal youth forum, Baikal information forum, Baikal educational forum were carried out. The Republic celebrated the 35th anniversary of BAM. The first session of the Organizing Committee on the celebrating of the 350th-anniversary of voluntary entry of Buryatiya in the structure of Russia under the presidency of the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexey Kudrina was held. Buryatia met the participants of chess championship of Russia. In the Republic the own eparchy was formed. The bishop of Ulan-Ude and Buryatia Savvaty arrived here. In August the President of Russia D.A.Medvedev visited our republic. Buryatia was visited also by the First vice-president of the Government of the Russian Federation Victor Zubkov, the First vice-president of the Government of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov, federal ministers, heads of the entities of the Siberian federal district. Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn ttok part in the solemn actions devoted to the 70th-anniversary of the battle on Khalkhin-gol in Mongolia. In September he met with the patriarch Cyril. On the territory of the Republic during the year a lot of film crews of federal channels which not only covered all of these actions but also removed separate films. For example, «Russia Today» channel which also broadcasted on-air translations from Buryatia for six days to 54 countries of the world. In the Republic actions like «Buy the goods of Buryatia», antinarcotic - «Know to live!» were succesfully held. «Baikal quality» action has been finished. And it is not a full list of that was made by the Government of Buryatia in the leaving year for formation of positive both internal, and external image of the Republic. Within the framework of the Council «Stock Exchange of contacts» project was also presented. The project realizes the whole complex of the actions directed on the promotion of the image of Buryatia and municipal formations of the Republic. It is called to expand the economic cooperation between business communities of the Republic, other regions of Russia and foreign countries. Some of the primary goals of the project are: acquaintance of business with prospects of the development of municipalities of Buryatia, creating contacts between the representatives of business of different regions, and also making of mutually advantageous contracts about cooperation in various branches of business. In the conclusion the ceremony of rewarding of winners of the competition on the design of the best emblem (trade mark) of the celebrating of the 350th-anniversary of voluntary entry of Buryatia in the structure of Russia was held. The sketch of "the Best emblem», in opinion of competent jury, was developed by the students of East Siberian State Technological University Bato Zhalsaraev and Andrey Vasilev. The second place in this nomination was given to « Baikal meridian » broadcasting company, Dashima Tsybzhitova got the third place. «Together through times» - this slogan for the trade mark of author Andrey Zameshaev was regarded as the best in the appropriate nomination. All winners were given diplomas and monetary premiums from the hands of the President of Buryatia.
